In addition, for some of the resources listed below, I am an affiliate or an ambassador for the company. This means that if you decide to click one of my links and make a purchase for the tool or resource, I earn a small commission at no additional cost for you. Heck, sometimes it even offers benefits for you! Please do not spend any money on these products unless you feel that you need them or they will help you.

How to secure and register a domain name—this is the URL of your website such as aaronward.com
NameCheap – My #1 go-to cheap domain name registrar. They have amazing prices and a very easy to use dashboard + great customer support if you ever get stuck.

Why no WordPress?
I am a huge fan of making websites with Webflow. I used to make sites on WordPress but found their back-end editor to be slow and constantly cause issues on updates. I like to keep things as simple as possible, whilst effectively doing the job.
Webflow – Webflow gives you the power to design, build, and launch responsive websites visually, while writing clean, semantic code for you.
With Webflow, you don't need any coding knowledge. Instead you design everything visually using an editor. They have a massive suite of amazing tutorials to get you started. I honestly wish I found Webflow as soon as they launched. It's amazing to quickly edit your site exactly how you want it, or alternatively use one of their many templates.
In addition, Webflow includes hosting and a free SSL certificate to secure your website.
If you want to sell physical or digital products online with inventory and client management, you will need an e-commerce platform.
Shopify (14 Day Trial) – The best platform for selling physical and digital goods online. They include hosting, inventory management, front-end and back-end shop editors, it’s so easy your grandma could (and maybe will) start a store.
Teachable – Ever taken one of my courses? I use Teachable to host, manage, accept payments, create sales pages and keep my content secure. This is by far the best platform to host and sell online courses.
Monitor, analyze and boost your sales with these marketing tools.
Google Analytics – Like duh. You need this no matter what. It lets you understand your websites traffic from their age, location, how they found your website plus so much more. Just get it even if you don’t understand it. Collect data from day one no matter what.
HotJar – A sweet tool for seeing heatmaps and live recordings of how visitors are using your website. You can also track your conversion funnels and see where users are dropping off (so you can improve the page). They offer a free plan which is perfect to test the interface and options available.
You most likely know how important it is to collect emails and send out emails to potential customers (and customers of course). Therefore, you need an email marketing tool to do exactly this.
ConvertKit – The best email tool ever. Seriously, it’s so freaking awesome. You can easily collect emails, segment and tag your users and create sexy automation sequences with a visual editor (so everything makes sense). I highly recommend this business to collect and send automated emails. I’ve been with them from day one and will never look back—even though I admit to looking for better alternatives but found everyone else always switched from those alternatives to ConvertKit.
LeadPages – If you want to up your game and create conversion optimized email opt-in forms, such as pop-ups, slide-ins, and so on… LeadPages offers a groovy tool called LeadBoxes which comes with the LeadPages landing page builder subscription.
Looking to convert visitors into email subscribers, leads or actually buyers? You need a landing page or lead/sales funnel.
LeadPages – My go-to option for creating conversion-focused landing pages and email opt-in forms. Admittedly though, I use their LeadBoxes (email opt-in forms) much more than their landing page software as I prefer to just code my own pages #nerd.
ClickFunnels – A more serious landing page and sales/lead generation funnel tool. Personally, I have never used this, but wanted to include it due to its popularity within the online marketer’s world.
Extra tools to help you increase conversions, whether that be an email signup or product sale.
Proof (30 Day Trial) – A sweet tool that massively boosts social proof on your landing page which drives 50%+ more conversions. Proof shows visitors recent conversions on your website such as signups, purchases or even how many live visitors you have in a beautifully designed bottom-right corner button.

Proxies, VPS’s and other tools to help you with social media marketing.
HighProxies – My #1 Instagram and social media automation proxies. These are my most recommended proxies that all my students and clients and myself use. They work like a charm.
Proxy purchase help
When purchasing a proxy, select a the location closest to you. This is because a proxy is an IP address, and you want one that is close to the original IP address your Instagram account was using.
SSLPrivateProxy – My alternative proxy provider for Instagram proxies. Works just as good and offers different locations.
GreenCloudVPS – The best VPS (Virtual Private Server) to run your social media automation software on, such as Jarvee, 24/7 hours a day. It’s basically renting a computer which is online 24 hours a day—you can connect to it from your computer and control it using RDC (remote desktop connection).
VPS purchase help
When purchasing a VPS, choose the Use the Windows VPS > MassPlanner Optimized VPS. This is optimized to run social media automation software. Then select the location closest to you during the checkout process, this will make your connection to the VPS quicker.
TunnelBear – A super easy and amazing VPN (virtual private network) that masks your location when accessing the internet to keep your activity private.
Legend – A cool app that creates sexy typography videos which are perfect for Instagram ads or shoutouts.
The physical tools and extra resources that have helped my business.
The tools I use to record online courses and Youtube videos with.
Microphone – ATR2100 which I have connected to a soundmixer as it’s an XLR microphone. In addition, I got the On Stage Foam Ball to cover the top of the mic to reduce pop and static noise.
Microphone Soundmixer – Yamaha AG03. You basically plug the mic in to this which controls your sound, reverb, and other cool audio things.
Recommended Cheaper Microphone – The Blue Yeti is a great alternative microphone which I know a lot of users first opt for as its much cheaper due to no soundmixer being required.
Webcam – Logitech HD Pro 1080p C920. Does what it says on the tin.
Recording software – OBS (open broadcast software). Has a perfect recording option which you can set up hot keys with too, making it easy to stop and start recording.
Editing software – Adobe Suite (all apps). Specifically I use After effects to create my motion graphics such as text animation and Youtube end cards. Then I use Premiere to cut, edit and render my video.
Books and courses are the stepping stone to learning. If it wasn’t for these, I wouldn’t be where I am today (so big thanks to the creators—love you all!)

Creating beautiful graphics is no one-click and post job. But these tools help you get there quicker.
Photoshop – The best graphics creation tool. You can do anything you want with Photoshop. While it may have a steep learning curve, the skillset is invaluable and 100% worth the time and effort to learn. I actually use the whole creative suite which includes Illustrator too for creating vector graphics (logos, icons and so on).
Note about Adobe
If you sign up for Adobe, get their ‘all applications’ package.
